The IM2403 is a highly integrated USB A+C quick-charge controller that supports PD3.0 /PPS/QC4.0+/QC4/QC3.0/QC2.0 and other fast charging protocol. It is design for USB DFP (Source) charging applications such as power adapters, car chargers and etc. The IM2403 built-in high-precision DACs and shunt regulators to provide high-precision output for type-C and type-A. It minimizes external components and saves BOM cost by integrating BMC PHY, Type-C detection, voltage and current monitors, output bleeding circuit, load-switch NMOS gate driver and system ESD design. When 1A1C connector plug into simultaneously, Type-C or Type-A can keep their own fast charging and power distribution is also realized. The IM2403 also provides comprehensive protections such as over voltage protection (OVP), under voltage protection (UVP), over temperature protection (OTP), over current protection (OCP) etc. The IM2403 is available in QFN32 package.
