The TMI9431 is a highly integrated USB 2C1A or 2A1C quick charging controller that supports PD3.0 /PPS /QC4 /QC3.0 /QC2.0 and SCP/ Super charging-V / AFC /PE etc. fast charging protocol. It is designed for USB DFP (Source) charging applications such as power adapters, car chargers and etc. The TMI9431 built-in high-precision DACs and uses FB direct or OPTO feedback loop to provide high-precision output. It minimizes external components and saves BOM cost by FB feedback, integrating BMC PHY, Type-C/A detection, voltage and current sampling, output bleeding circuit, load-switch NMOS gate driver. When any two ports plug into simultaneously, the output voltage changes to 5V. The TMI9431 also provides comprehensive protections such as over voltage protection (OVP), over temperature protection (OTP), over current protection (OCP) etc. The TMI9431 is available in QFN4x4-32 package.
