TMI7205B is single-chip power management IC integrating one wide input voltage and high efficiency synchronous Buck convert (BUCK1), double low voltage 1A synchronous Buck convert (BUCK2 & BUCK 3) and one 300mA low-dropout linear regulators (LDO). BUCK1 operates in force PWM mode and capable of delivering up to 1A output current. BUCK2 & BUCK3 is 2.3MHz switching frequency current mode buck converter and it can run at 100% duty cycle for low dropout operation. BUCK2 & BUCK3 offers PFM mode and PWM mode, which allows a high efficiency over the wider range of the load condition. LDO is designed to work with low-ESR ceramic capacitors, reducing the amount of the PCB area necessary for power applications. Only a 2.2μF ceramic output capacitor can make the device stable over the whole load range current (0mA to 300mA). Advanced production features include input UVLO, thermal shutdown, soft start and input OVP.
